What we actually do..

As a Commonwealth registered celebrant I am trained in the legal responsibilities of planning and performing wedding ceremonies. I am also well-versed on the best timelines and procedures for ceremony planning. I will be there to guide you every step of the way, with check-lists and questionnaires to fill out making sure no stone is left unturned. I have also put together a quick play-by-play below to get you started!

How we get hitched:

4-9 months till ceremony

1st consultation

9 months is an ideal time to first reach out to your celebrant. You should have a rough idea of location and date so we can firstly figure out if our logistics will work. We can then have our 1st consultation to make sure we are the perfect fit!

4-8 months till ceremony

Designing your ceremony

During this period you will be gaining a better idea of what your wedding vision is and I will be collating all of the info to design your ceremony. I have questionnaires and check-lists to help you along the way.

3 months till ceremony

Finalise script & sign NOIM

Okay we are getting down to the nitty gritty now! I will be sending you drafts of the final script to sign off. We will also be starting to legal proceedings to let the government know of your planned nuptuals we will submit your Notice of Intent To Marry

1 week till ceremony

Rehearsal & sign DONLM

I usually like to have a final rehearsal the day or week before the ceremony to ensure everyone is comfortable and ready for the big day! We will also need to fill your your Declaration of No Legal Impediment to Marriage.

The big day is here!

Vows, monintum & final paperwork

On the big day I will be there to make sure the ceremony is everything you dreamt of and also.. legit. There are two wedding certificates to sign on the day and you must receipt the legal vows word for word. You also must have your two chosen witnesses present and signing your paperwork.

Post ceremony

Paperwork submission

After the big day I will submit your completed paperwork to the government and then comes your happily ever after!
